About

Southern Minnesota Inspection was formed in 2003 by John Weber and Troy Boettcher, with a focus on providing inspections and repairs to the overhead lifting industry.

In January of 2007, construction of our new building in Eagle Lake was completed. This provided a permanent location to grow and provide continued overhead lifting safety.

As our business grew, so did our need for space. A building expansion was started in June of 2010. This more than doubled the size of our facility and gave us the ability to advance into new markets, including all sectors of overhead lifting, fall protection, aerial lifts, auto lifts/shops, schools/sports facilities, performing arts and more.

We provide detailed reports with recommendations that will help keep your facility and employees safe. Although inspection is in our name, we also provide a much larger selection of products and services including sales, installations and repairs.

Today we are dedicated to ensuring safe and compliant equipment for more than 1,300 customers. Let us take the worry out of what’s hanging over your head!
