Aqua cycling is a type indoor cycling that is done in a swimming pool. A stationary bike is used that is submerged in 3 to 5 feet of water. The resistance of water makes the movements more demanding than riding a bike on land. Not only does the water buoyancy help to provide support it helps reduce the heat generated by a workout by regulating body temperature. Great for advanced cyclists or recovery from injury.
