Standard Cloth is “breathable” polyester commonly used material for normal lifting applications. It can be laundered up to 180 degrees.
“H” Cloth is a “breathable” material made with high-heat polyester that withstands temperatures up to 200 degrees. This material is often preferred where high heat laundry processes are used.
“C” Cloth is a cool-heat polyester made with material that withstands temperatures up to 167 degrees and has a non-absorbent coating on one side for easy spot cleaning.
Full Body & Ceiling Lift Slings
UNI-FIT SLING
The UNI-FIT sling can be used to transfer patients who are unpredictably able to bear weight on their legs, who bear weight too poorly to transfer safely with a sit to stand mechanical lift or who are non-weight bearing. Patients need to have normal to rigid muscle tone and have one intact leg.
For use with Vancare full body and ceiling lifts. Available in standard polyester, “H” cloth high heat polyester or a “C” cloth cool-heat polyester. 9 sizes available.
AMPUTEE SLING
The amputee sling can be used to transfer patients who have unilateral or bilateral above the knee amputations and patients with intact lower extremities who have loose muscle tone and are at risk of sliding through the small space at the horseshoe area of the UNI-FIT sling.

HYGIENE SLING
The hygiene sling is used for toileting. It features a torso support belt and back support section.

2 POINT SLING
The 2 Point Sling is used with the 2 point hanger assembly from VANCARE as well as other lifts that feature a two point sling bar.

CLIP STYLE SLING

Sit to Stand Slings
SITTING SLING
The VERA-LIFT sitting sling can be used to transfer patients who do not exhibit behavior during transfers that might pose risk of injury to the patient or for staff members during seated transfers. Patients must also be able to sit erect with arms on the outside of the sitting sling and able to have both knees against the knee rest.
For use with Vancare VERA LIFT Sit to Stand lifts. Available in standard polyester, “H” cloth high heat polyester or a “C” cloth cool-heat polyester. 4 sizes available.
SINGLE STRAP CONTOUR BACK BELT
Vancare Single strap back belts can be used to transfer patients with predictable, cooperative behavior who are able to follow simple directions, are able to hold onto both hand grips and put both feet on the VERA-LIFT foot pad, are weight bearing on both legs.
For use with Vancare VERA LIFT Sit to Stand lifts. Available in standard polyester, “H” cloth high heat polyester or a “C” cloth cool-heat polyester. 10 inch wide and 13 inch wide models available in 4 sizes each.
DOUBLE STRAP CONTOUR BACK BELT
The VERA-LIFT back belt should be wide enough to fit from the top of the gluteal fold (between the buttocks) to 2″ – 3″ inches below the lower edge of the client’s shoulder blades. The back belt should be long enough for belt fabric to fit around the client’s abdomen without loop fabric touching the client.The back belt is also available with the lower thigh support strap shown on the right. The red strap goes under the buttocks to support and lift those who are having difficulty bearing weight.
